Only stayed for 3 days but would not hesitate to stay for longer in this property. Only one negative (but just me being picky) the shower would benefit from being larger. "We wanted a two night stay in La Cala de Mijas and we knew the location of the Carmen Hotel. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags and the gentleman on reception was very friendly and said we could check in at the same time and our room would be ready a little later which was fine. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had breakfast both mornings which were cooked on request and was very tasty. Would certainly recommend to family & friends."

"This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. The apartment had everything you need and things you didn’t even know you needed! Tranquil and beautiful location but just a few minutes walk up hill to the centre of Mijas Pueblo with the shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get around on local transport, or there’s a garage if you have a car. Wonderful."

As for the Wi-Fi, it accepted the given pass code but then then the "No internet, secured" message appeared on our 5 devices. We reported this to the local agent who said they would pass it on to the owners but heard nothing more.
