The Mediterranean Beach House - 100m to the Sea
Newly renovated Designer House with Mediterranean flair, less than 100m walk to the sea and stunning Coastal Walk ("Senda litoral").
Features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private terrace on the upper floor, and a study area with screen and WiFi connection.
Living room with direct access to a communal garden area with shared pool among 12 neighbors.
Located in a vibrant area with numerous restaurants, beach bars, 'chiringuitos,' and supermarkets nearby
As an Architect, I emphasize two key components that have played a significant role in designing the home's renovation:
The first is capturing the essence of traditional Mediterranean living through extensive use of white color, ceramic lattice screens, built-in sofa, and materials such as wicker, rattan, and wood.
The second is blending it with contemporary elements by incorporating metallic details and integrated LED lighting.
The house spans three levels:
The ground floor houses the kitchen-dining area and the living room, along with a workspace equipped with a desk, office chair, 24” screen, and HDMI cable.
The first floor is where you'll find the two bedrooms and bathrooms: The first bedroom features a 180cm-wide bed, while the other has a 150cm-wide bed and its own ensuite bathroom.
The top floor boasts a covered terrace with a table for exclusive use by guests.
The Living room has direct access to a communal garden area with shared pool among 12 neighbors.
Reach Calahonda beach and the 6km coastal walk in just 1 minute walking from the house. This new coastal boardwalk will have you connected to Mijas Beach and many beachside restaurants & bars.
Located next to the costal walk, bars and restaurants:
El capricho: “chiringuito” nice place by the sea , nice views. Spanish meals & tapas. 20 min walking
La Lucera: “chiringuito”, bar for lunch just in the sand, nice place to try “pescadito” or Spanish tapas with a cold beer. 4 min walking
Max beach: nice outdoor area with swimming pool and music: lunch + dinner. 5 min walking
Beach house Elvira: Great for breakfast , lunch and dinner. During summer time there are many live music events. 10 min by car
Just in front of the house there is an area with a few bars and restaurants: (Da Vinci for pizzas & La Estancia for a nice steak are the best ones)
El Zocco shopping mall : Supermarket. Walking distance.
Going out at night: If you want to have some drinks , you will find very close from the house some of the best beach clubs in the area:
- Nikki Beach (Marbella) & Max Beach
Closest beaches: calahonda beach, la Cala (mijas) beach & Cabopino beach.
If you play Golf, you will be pleased to know there are more than 10 Golf Clubs in the nearby area.
Closest towns/citiies to visit by car in less than 30 minutes: Mijas, Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga. You also have the beautiful Ronda (around 1h by car).
The airport is 30 minutes by car.
Although the house is next to the coastal path and various restaurants, we recommend renting a car to fully enjoy all the nearby points of interest.
The house is located close to the sea, the coastal walk, and an area with excellent restaurants such as La Estancia (specializing in Argentinean meat) and the Da Vinci pizzeria.
Despite its privileged location, it's important to mention that the house is in a vibrant area, especially during weekends. Furthermore, similar to most properties in this coastal zone, it's also in proximity to the highway.
While the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with high-quality sound- proofed glazing, for guests seeking absolute silence, we recommend exploring other alternatives in areas further from the beach.
