"We had a great 15 night stay at this villa family of 8, aged from 8 - 76. Communication with the host was excellent, with very quick replies to any questions, and check-in/out was easy.The location is fantastic. Shops, restaurants, the beach, bus stops & taxis are all within walking distance. We didn’t hire a car as the buses are regular. The villa is very spacious, which was ideal for our large family, plenty of utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 fridge freezers. The sea views are fantastic.There are some areas that could be improved. The property would benefit from a deep clean and some general TLC. The pool wasn’t cleaned as regularly as we expected and the tiles could do with a thorough clean. On arrival, the kitchen sink was dirty, and both upstairs & downstairs shower drains were blocked & needed unblocking. The beds were ok but not the most comfortable, and the bedding and towels are quite old. Spare bedding/pillowcases, a bath mat & beach towels would have been useful. The kettle is also very small & slow, so a larger one would be a good addition. There is a BBQ, we didn’t use it as it would be better positioned on the main terrace. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday & would probably stay again. It’s a lovely rustic Spanish villa in an excellent location & great views. With some cleaning, repairs, updates & TLC, it could easily be a 5-star. Given its current condition, we feel the price is a little high but it it would be worth it if improvements were made"

"Honest review, 3 star hotel not an 4. the staff was good, they did their job. Front desk was a 3/5, cleaning staff 3/5 and the dining room staff was great 5/5. When we did ask for our room to be cleaned they only swept the floor and remade the beds and changed towels, or tub remained dirty the whole time. They also took away the 2nd blanket and never replaced, we had 3 beds, never got the 3rd blanket. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, had to buy a memory foam from jysk just to survive. The carpets in the hallway were very stained, and the hallway walls were very stained and splattered, need to be repainted. There is NO parking on site, they should just say that. We stayed for 2 weeks, tried every day for a parking spot but it was a first come first serve thing, never once saw the ‘parking full’ sign taken down. No way to put your name on a list or even bid on parking. You have to go park somewhere FAR away from the hotel. They should be transparent about this. The rooftop area they advertise on pictures is actually a pay-to-enter bar and not included in all-inclusive. Limited drinks for all inclusive as well. View from balcony was spectacular, pool and pool side lounging was good. The beach loungers you see are not covered by the hotel and cost 7-15 euro to rent. Buffet food was good, and there was a large selection, though after 2 weeks it becomes the same menu (not their fault). This is a great central location for excursions and great access to the beach."

"Lovely property in a great location. The shared pool is lovely to cool off in. The nearest beach is not too far away and easy to walk to. A car is needed if you want to explore the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend this property."

"Inconvenientes:La recogida de llaves está muy lejos del apartamento.El plato de la ducha no tienes suficiente inclinación y se sale el agua.Necesita reparar la cerradura de la puerta y el fregadero El aparcamiento es casi imposible y en la entrada y salida del acceso te juegas la vida.No es lógico que la autovía pase entre los edificios."

"Excellent communication from John before and during our stay. The apartment is very well located about 10 minutes walk from the beach and the main town of La Cala and right next to a big supermarket, a lovely bodega and some great restaurants. The apartment is one of the larger 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments we have stayed in and has a fantastic balcony with a large table and chairs as well as sofas and a coffee table. The beds have good mattresses and are very comfy. WiFi is great, TV has a good selection of international channels. There is a helpful selection of bathroom and kitchen products including a great hairdryer. The apartment also includes 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds, rugs and beach towels which can be used at the pool area. Absolutely loads of bathroom towels provided as well. The pool was very well looked after. Set in beautiful gardens so plenty of shade as well as sunny spots if you are there for the day. There is a lifeguard on duty most of the opening period if needed. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would book again in the future."

"Stayed as a group of friends and had a lovely stay at Stephen and Andrea’s property. Had a lot of facilities, the bar was a lovely extra touch. Communication was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best trip, thank you for your hospitality"
