In fact even for lounging by the pool, you don't need to leave the veranda as it gets the sun all day and is right by the pool. It's also just a few minutes walk to the beach and La Cala centre. Great Stay
"Excellent stay - have stayed before at McDonald Villacana resort, but needed to be a little closer to Calahonda this time. The apartment we had was on the first floor with a sea view from the balcony. The apartment was larger than expected and had a large balcony too (big enough for a table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers without being cramped). An added bonus was the washing machine in the apartment. Food in the restaurant was great - wouldn't hesitate to use again or to recommend."
