In the Konavle area, close to Dubrovnik, there is an old railway tunnel that was built by the Habsburgs. It makes a switchback on the mountain to slowly loose height. Now you can walk through it and see the bats that live there. In May the wildflowers leading up to it were stunning! Even in the rain!

"Beautiful recently renovated 6-room boutique hotel directly on an alcove of the Adriatic Sea. A 2 minute walk to the Pile Gate of the old city and the St Lawrence Castle. An ideal location. We had a room with a direct sea view which was fabulous. There was a large patio with a sitting area directly next to our room which was great. The 2 young women at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our time at Sea Rocks Residence and highly recommend it. "

"We stayed here at the end of our 21 day Croatia driving trip. It was such a beautiful property. We booked the superior ocean view balcony and was so happy we did. The views were spectacular. The room we had was very comfortable and had anything you could want. The bonus was a bathtub. The resort has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was everything you would expect from a 5* hotel. Stayed two nights. Wish it could have been longer. "

"Lovely place. The facilites are very elegant and accessible. Attractive pool area with access to a gorgeous beach. The indoor pool also very nice and warmer. I believe without exception each member of the staff, reception, concierge, maid, waiters were very polite and willing to be helpful. Highly recommended. "
