The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom). "The apartment is well maintained, well furnished and Samantha as well as Antonietta were friendly and caring. At arrival everything was as presented and announced. There was a welcoming package and everything was prepared with hospitable care. The town center is nearby, and a store for groceries is at walking distance. In the morning we used to walk to the city center, on the way there you can find many places to taste the local foods as well as bars to have for example an Italian breakfast or...

"Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again."

Vicino al mare anche se serve la macchina visti i 2-3km di distanza, cosa comunque non problematica per gli ampi parcheggi gratuiti (e totalmente vuoti a fine luglio) dei lidi vicini. Mare bello sabbioso ma non super-trasparente come potrebbe essere puglia o sardegna."

Kitchen could be better equipped if you plan on cooking. Montescagliosa is a charming mountain town and a nice change from nearby towns with more tourists than locals walking the cobbled streets."
