"WOW! What an amazing place! So much beauty, history and breathtaking landscapes. Anastasia and Stefano are incredibly warm and welcoming, they made us feel like family. The rooms are spotless and the attention to detail is second to none. You can feel the passion that has been put in to every inch of the Borgo. A visit to the spa is a must - a truly relaxing haven. The pictures do not do it justice, you must visit to understand the beauty."

"Quirky property, Castle divided into numerous rental properties with large well tended garden and great views of the Umbrian countryside. You definitely need a car if staying here unless your sole purpose here is walking! The road up is very steep with lots of bends, don’t let that put you off though, it’s well worth it when you arrive. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
