"The front desk experience was not good. It seems the gentleman at the front desk put my 85 year old mother on a different floor than us. When I ask if we could be on the same floor he told me “we would have had to book the rooms together “. Well I had 1 reservation # so… it that not being booked together??? The owner was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She has little English but Google translate came in handy every day . The lady of the house recommended restaurant to eat in at night time .. Breakfast was simple with tea and toast, and Villa had a relaxed vibe. The pool was a real highlight — crystal clear and beautifully maintained — and the grounds were stunning and peaceful. A perfect place to unwind.
