"This cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful area, which is fantastic for decompressing and relaxing. Keep in mind that it is a bit of a drive if you're looking for restaurants or shopping. Cell service is poor, as to be expected in the mountains, but there is wifi in the cabin with a strong signal. The cabin itself is very clean amd comfortable. You're renting the bottom level, while the host lives in the top level via a separate entrance. He is very kind and we didn't even notice him there...

"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "Great comfy cozy cabin to kick back and relax. It was nice to get away from it all. We stayed 3 peaceful nights. We participated in the tractor show that was happening at Penns Cave which was about 45 minutes away. Would rent this property again!"
