"Lovely property well maintained in a remote location. Sadly the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that did not detract. We were allocated the pool house so unable to comment on the main house. Owners are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The village of Darnius is quaint but very much a one-horse town (unfortunately someone has stolen the horse). If it’s tranquility you are after, you will find it here."

"Excellent rustic retreat with a very charming owner for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Conveniently located in the countryside outside Gerona with easy access to the many attractions of the area. The swimming pool was a welcome asset after a day sightseeing."

"Me gustó el hecho de que tuviera un comedor y cocina ( nevera y microondas) a parte del comedor dónde hacían las comidas propias del albergue. Lugar muy agradable y con un entorno fabuloso. Ideal para ir con niños tiene un parque y campo de futbol junto al albergue."

"I had a confirmed booking and when we arrived at 11.30pm I was told via an intercom at the door that the hotel was full.The person talking to me cut me off and wouldn't open the door. I had emailed twice through Expedia and then tried to ring up about 5 times about arriving late but had not got any replies before I left the UK.Luckily I had a tent and Google which found me a camping in the middle of the night. Incidentally Google insisted on sending me through tiny little streets in the middle...
