"The hotel is conveniently located near Yosemite and restaurants. It is an older building with lots of character and history with some modern conveniences. Our room was on the second floor—a long way for seasoned citizens to haul suitcases! The room and bath were small—the bed was too soft for us. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable."

"We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down. The shower was functional but showed signs of damage to the faucet handle and a bit of mold.
