"I always have a nice stay when I stay at Hapton Inn, and this was no exception. This was the third night of my vacation and I had stayed at inferior hotels the previous two nights. I always read reviews and look at ratings before I book a room. Things started shakey with the lady at the desk because I asked her if there was a Dollar General in the area and she acted like it was a Jeopardy question I told her to forget it and I would google it. I asked her if there was someplace that would deliver pizza and she gave me two menus but when I called from the room both places were too far away for delivery. There had been two severe storms that day and the television wasn't working no wifi when I called the desk, she told me the wifi was down which I accepted and decided to go look for pizza. When I was leaving I noticed that there was no problem with the wifi in the lobby. After finding a Dominoes pizza about a mile away I came back and my wifi was still down. Once again I was told it was the wifi when I challenged her answer she told me that only some of the rooms had functional wifi I asked her to let me switch to a room with wifi and she did. At the end of the day the room was great and breakfast was super like it always is. I feel like the desk clerk could have been a little more genuine, but with the poor weather I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. "

"Power outage in town due to storm. Hotel was affordable and comfortable. Front desk was very nice. Quiet area. "

"The property was in a nice neighborhood and was close to a grocery store and eating places. We had privacy and the kids enjoyed playing outside. If you have a large group, bring extra toiletry items. We would have also had to wash towels and wash cloths if we had not brought some of our own. The yard was beautiful but a bit overgrown. The swing out front couldn't be used because birds apparently nested above it. Overall, we had a nice stay."
