Tent Accommodation: Camping at Brookledge is in the form of tents, not cabins. Keep in mind that you'll be staying in a tented environment.
Basic Amenities: These tents do not come with amenities commonly found in houses or cabins, such as air conditioning, a stove, or bathroom facilities. You will have electricity, fan, lamp, mini fridge and comfy beds. Not too shabby for a tent. You will also have linens, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, lighter, grill, table and chairs.
Electricity: Despite being tents, they are equipped with electricity. You can plug in devices like your cellphone, a fan (provided), coffee maker (also provided), and a lamp. Note that the tent itself doesn't have Wi-Fi; you'll need to access it from the pavilion area which is a short walk.
Bathhouse Facilities: The bathhouse, which includes a shower, toilet, and sink, is located less than 300 feet away from the tent area. The bathhouse is not like what you remember from your summer camp days. The shower is tiled, the walls are Adirondack stile and it is closed off from the rest of the bathhouse for privacy.
Towels Provided: You'll be provided with various towels, including bath towels and washcloths. These essentials are taken care of.
Outdoor Activities: There are plenty of outdoor activities available, such as a fire ring next to your tent, a picnic table, a grill, access to the pond, canoeing, using the pedal boat, a floating dock, fish feeding, walking trails, and yard games.
Firewood: Please do not bring firewood for offsite to protect our trees from invasive bugs. You are welcome to help yourself at the Camp Store. It is $5 a bundle.
Cooking: Inside your tent, there's a mini fridge provided and a grill.
Remember, the main takeaway is that you're getting a tent experience with basic amenities and access to outdoor activities. This is an opportunity to enjoy a fun experience with your loved ones. We are here on site and happy to help.
