"Beautiful location and perfect for 3 couples who like to travel together. There is a good boulangerie within a short walk and a fish and chips truck that was excellent that is set up once a week near there. The house has great outdoor spaces, but the weather did not cooperate for us to use the pool(which appears to be very nice). "What a fantastic chateau. Amazing building, beautiful grounds, and a great swimming pool. We had plenty of space for our party of 12 to eat together, but also to get some quiet time when needed. It’s in a great location - about 25 minutes from Sarlat, and less than 10 minutes from the river, with easy access for kayaking and paddle boarding. There are plenty of other places to visit - the hardest part is leaving the chateau!"

"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
