"The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."

He is very cordial and friendly and honest. There is a slight language barrier, but he tries his very best to give you the best experience. For the home, for the excursions. All absolutely amazing. If you ever need anything, just reach out to him, and you’ll be taken care of. I’m very grateful I stayed here."

"We had an amazing experience staying in the casita. Clayanna was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The sounds from the jungle during the night were very soothing, and being away from all the city was a plus. But meeting Pepe was the highlight of our stay. "There was nothing in common with the pictures they show and the reality. It was dirty,the water was cold no preasure,toilet sit broken,not enough blankets,very cold during the night,super over priced,far away from the city and very broken road to the ranch. The only think we liked is the garden! "

"We had a great time at the house it has access to the lake with a lake deck for enjoying a picnic then dive into the crystal clear water below. The house was clean and had just about everything you would need, I do wish it would have a blender to make drinks but that's a minor thing the weather was fantastic warm in the day and cool in the evening. "The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. There are aluminum blinds which help lessen the sunlight a bit, but unfortunately they rattle loudly if the wind blows and vents are open to let in fresh air. The biggest...

"We had a magical time here. A very short walk to the beach with an astounding view of the bay. The host and her assistant were so kind and very attentive. There are beach side restaurants 5 minutes away and it doesn't feel at all touristy. I strongly encourage anyone to check out this lovely guest house."

"The view from this property is amazing. The distance to town was not bad. The food in the town of Montezuma was wonderful too. Peter was a great host and we had all that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered patio watching the sun rise in the AM. And we took full advantage of the pool during the heat of the day. We will be back to visit for sure!!!"
