We had a fantastic welcome, dined nearby in a world class restaurant serving only local food right in the middle of a vineyard and had breakfast on a terrace in front of a historic chateaux - life rarely gets better!! However, one of the rooms we were given was extremely small, to the point where it felt like a design mistake by the architect. Additionally, since it was summer, it got quite hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."
