"The location in Edinburgh is excellent. The hotel is close to stations, theatre and St. James Quarter for shopping. Directly on the other side of the Square are various restaurants. We paid for an upgrade to a Club Room and were fortunate to be given a Suite. We had a nice bathroom with shower and a slipper bath in the main bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and despite being at the front of the hotel we slept well with no noise. Staff were friendly and nice. Room was ok cleanliness wise but...

"The hotel is really beautiful and staff were very helpful and polite. A real highlight was the food which was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately the trip was let down by the fact that it was not communicated to the hotel via Expedia that I had booked for 2 adults and 1 child, this meant that there was no bed in the room for my son (which was rectified by 8pm) and we had to pay for his dinner and breakfast despite booking the dinner, bed and breakfast option via Expedia for 2...
