Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station

"Location is perfect, convenient to train station. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room is lacking some basic amenities like closets, dressers, surfaces for personal items and hooks in the shower area. Breakfast has a nice selection but at 8am, plates and trays were unavailable, some hot items were cold and many selections were already depleted."

"Excellent location with subways nearby and a short walk to the Hakata station. Nearby malls, convenience stores and restaurants add to the appeal and a famous bakery is just opposite the hotel. The onsen is acceptable but I find the number of washing machines/dryer a bit lacking leading to long wait to do laundry. In room aircon takes a while to cool the room. What I find annoying is that the light switches in the room completing turn off everything even though there is a switch for the down light next to the bedside table. We can’t even leave the bathroom light on. Aside from these minor issues it was a good stay ."
