Room clean, bed comfy, breakfast great with good coffee and selection of breads, croissant etc as well as cereals and orange juice. "I had a great 6 day stay at Pilo. The pods are a great way to have a bit of privacy and feel like you're more in your own space, though don't be fooled – it's still fundamentally a hostel, but loads better if you find having to interact with people a bit awkward. The attached coffee shop/bar/restaurant is great. I was quite unwell one night which was a nightmare in a shared room, probably equally if not moreso for the other people in the room but the Pilo staff were so helpful. I think my only real niggle is that whilst the bedding is perfectly serviceable and the beds comfy enough (and, fundamentally, you'd be a fool to expect luxury high thread count linen at these prices) it would be much nicer with relatively little outlay with some better pillows (also, it's in the name!)"

"I stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Lyon for the Congrès de Lyon, and it was an excellent experience. The location could not have been more convenient—just a one-minute walk from the conference venue, which made attending sessions and networking incredibly easy. The hotel itself exceeded expectations. The room was exceptionally spacious, almost like a studio apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area—perfect for longer stays or simply having the comfort of extra space. Their breakfast, offered at an affordable price, was more than sufficient to start the day well. I also really appreciated the staff at the front desk. They were consistently respectful, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a seamless and comfortable experience that I would definitely recommend for anyone attending events at the Congrès or visiting Lyon for business."
