"It was my 70th birthday on the 8th August. I thought it would be lovely to celebrate it with my family. 14 of us went -myself, husband, my 3 children and partners and my 6 grandchildren. There was plenty of space for us all. The house and garden were ideal. We all had a wonderful 3 days."

"Could be nice property but major TLC needed. Bedding is very poor and new beds needed. Small room ceiling is falling down, badly stained from leaks in above bathrooms. Bathrooms need showers fitted properly and bath sealant sorting out. Ivy growing into main bedroom. None of the doors close properly. Kitchen very dated, under sink is rotten. Dish washer needs sorting. Needs more kitchen equipment. I thought we were in a courtyard with swimming pool and children's play area. Not so we were...

"I was disappointed not to have received the instructions to gain access to the keys, and was very relieved that the host answered my call when we arrived. She sounded surprised, as if we weren't expected! Property is a good size but we were only a party of 4, with only 2 bathrooms (only 1 shower) it would be quite busy if all 11 beds were occupied! The water is very hot!! Fabulous garden, great hot tub, we had a lovely stay. Thanks"
