"The property is under going a massive refurb to the bedrooms although we was very close to the workmen we didn't hear a thing, and the work men where very courteous, thankfully the main building is being left to its very ornate and beautiful surroundings, the breakfast deal is amazing, breakfast was good but the coffee was a bit of a let down but Mackie's is just across the road so no problem, all in all I love staying staff are great."

"Apart from some peeling wallpaper, the hotel is great. I like the way it is built around its name, with appropriate pictures and decor. The staff were helpful, the linen was lovely especially the towels which were thick and fluffy. "

"Wonderful Beatles themed hotel in an old beautiful building which has been sympathetically refurbished. Excellent design of lift in original stairwell. Staff helpful, breakfast was adequate but we were on the last minute. Would go back to this hotel."
