"I happen to be visiting Boston & Salem during the FIFA cup. The was a good option to paying overpriced rooms closer the city. The area was quiet. Breakfast was simply donuts. We used the washer and dryer. I found that us and other people using the dryer still had wet clothes. The room had a fridge which was convenient."

"My daughter and I stayed just one night. We did have the complimentary breakfast, which was good. The staff there were helpful and friendly. We did not take advantage of fitness room. Our room was clean and comfortable. What kept me from giving this 5 stars was checking in. I checked in early via the text I was sent to “ save time” when we arrived at the hotel. However, at the reception desk, it took even longer than online. I do not feel I saved anytime. During this transaction , the receptionist never said a word to us. After, we were handed our key cards in a card holder with the room number on it, which was good, because we were not told what floor or room we were given, nor where the elevator was. Also, thankfully, I noticed the sign in the lobby for breakfast times, because that was not given either. The rest of the staff was great. The desk is the first thing you encounter when you enter the hotel. They set the tone of the rest of your stay. However, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of parking , and though we are not typically “breakfast people” , we found the breakfast good- lots of options. The area was clean and staff was helpful. The price of our room, ( 2 queen beds) was reasonable."

"The room was very clean and welcoming. The front desk was very helpful whenever we asked them about things. Went ate at the restaurant/bar. I think they could use some help in there with taking orders. When we asked the prices of drinks he said he didn't know what they were because he was working on the prices. Not a good answer in my opinion. But all and all, it was a nice hotel and I think if they worked a bit harder on the restuarant/bar it would be a really nice place."

"Their pool had VERY limited hours. Like 4 to 9 PM on one day and 8 AM to noon on Sunday. We choose our hotels based on indoor pools because exercising is imperative for our old bones, especially because we're sitting while driving for hours. They did have it on their website but we didnt see it. We would have chosen another hotel. There were very few seats at the pool. In one sat who I assumed to be their worker. (I believe they have a pool sitter & that is why limited hours) There was a parent in another seat watching her children and two more more chairs. We didnt need to sit but needed to place our towels, phone, shoes and cover ups on something. It is a small pool area but a bench in there would have been adequate. They no longer have a coffee pot in the room. I didnt mind but my sister did. They have a fresh ground machine in the lobby with med, decaf & hot water in it. Usually Holiday Inn Express have Keurigs & we bring our own pods w/ what kinds of coffee we prefer. The smoking area was right next to the handicap parking. That was pretty bad to have to walk past and park beside that. I am an ex-smoker so you know we ex-smokers are particular! LOL Besides the pool, smoking area and the coffee change...the lobby, coffee & eating area were clean. I used the stairs going down and the staircase was well lit and clean. The hall carpet could have been cleaned. The rooms were very clean and comfortable."
