"We enjoyed staying here at this location. The lady working the front desk was super nice even though I was aggravated with the $100 pet fee and not being informed of that prior to booking through Expedia. Once I got in the room though I realized why it was such an expensive pet fee. The rooms have carpet. Still very expensive. Pet fee should not be almost as much as we paid for the room. The lady with the long braid in the morning serving the breakfast was the sweetest. She was super attentive and nice. Made me feel at home. The beds were super comfy and ac worked well. Rooms were nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel. If we ever come back through that area we will definitely return. "

"This was my second stay at The Double Tree in Abilene, TX. Each stay has been amazing! Every staff member I have come in contact with has been joyful, friendly and very helpful! The concierge checked in each day to see how our stay was going and offered to help with any need. The restaurant food is wonderful and the 2nd floor outdoor pool is private and well stocked. I will be back! "

"My wife and our two children and their spouses and young children spent two nights. We loved the house. Lots of room for us. The location of the property was perfect for us. Remote enough so it’s away from town and quiet but close enough to Abilene to make a day trip. Very quiet and great for some morning and evening walks as well. We struggled a little to make meals because only 2 or the burners on the stove were working. Other than that it was a great stay and our family loved our time there."
