"I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."

"Vaste maison idéalement située entre l'axe autoroutier et les lieux touristiques. La disposition des pièces a permis le séjour en famille, et donc avec des rythmes différents, facile en évitant de se trouver en dessous de la chambre où le bébé faisait ses siestes (isolation faible, mais pour des vacances c'est moins gênant). 2 salles de bain et 2 WC, c'est parfait. Et la présence des vaches a fait énormément plaisir à notre fils qui adorait les regarder rentrer en fin de journée. Encore merci "

"This was the perfect property for our large family group. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, en suite bathrooms in every bedroom, endless space and activities for all - the indoor pool was especially appreciated on a couple of rainy days. Gillian was great to deal with and super helpful with any queries we had both before and during our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! Wish we could go back every year!"

"Schönes Ferienhäuschen in der Auvergne, das von unserer Gastgeberin Esther liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet wurde. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und willkommen geheißen und haben eine erholsame Woche verbracht. Esther versorgt einen zur Begrüßung kulinarisch und danach mit wertvollen Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein paar Kilometer entfernt in St. Eloy. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht auf All inclusive steht!"

"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"Beautiful converted barn. Very spacious accommodation suitable for a large family group. Great cycling country. Lovely local village within walking distance, but disappointing the only restaurant has closed."

"Trois nuits passées au gite, la chaleur douillette du poele était tres agréable au retour de la neige. Un équipement bien complet pour se sentir comme à la maison. Vivement recommandé."

"Notre location était d'un bon rapport qualité-prix , confortable pour 4 adultes, les randonnées le long de la sioule sont accessibles pour tous, et la chaîne des puys est environ à 25 kms Une remarque sur la location : Une bouilloire électrique ce serait top Dan.D "

"Belle vue de la terrasse, propriétaires charmants et à l écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons aussi apprécié leur piscine !"

"Excellent appartement (4 chambres, 2 sdb) et hyper bien situé à 2 minutes du centre, et avec une vue plongeante sur Aubusson. L'équipement est très complet et super bien.Merci à l'hôte qui prépare avec soin cette maison atypique plus que centenaire. Bravo pour cette rénovation du patrimoine d'Aubusson. En outre, Aubusson est une ville très pratique pour visiter le plateau des Millevaches, ses randonnées et ses lacs (ne pas rater le lac de Vassivière). "

"A rural location , and a friendly village pub and diner. The facilities were not 5 star but we were not expecting that.Friendly waitress coping well with some 20 diners at once. Regional food - ris de veau, and rognons , were delicious."

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "

"Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "
