Loved our stay at Hotel Mexico Mérida. The staff was very courteous and helpful with information around the hotel and the tours they offer. The communication was great before and during our stay. Will definitely come back again and also recommend this hotel for a short stay!

Good option to stay close to the city center. Tiny and quiet hotel, with a little and super useful swimming pool. The surrounding might give another perception of the property, but in fact it doesn’t.

This little hotel is definitely worth a stay. The rooms are small but very clean and new looking. The little pool and outdoor area was nice to have, like an oasis in the middle of bustling Merida. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel for the cleanliness and location, within east walking distance of the the centre and Santa Lucía Park with its amazing restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything in the heart of Mexico. Oxxo 24hra across the street. Bakeries 3 doors to the right or 3 doors to left. Carls Jr or McDonalds but 3 minutes walk to every restaurant and Grand plaza. Walking distance to farmers market. A true experience. Every uber right was max $3 usd. Staff was amazing and manager is on site and so nice.

Great value for money

Very central location, super friendly staff and very good value for money. The pool on the roof is a big plus in the hot and humid Merida. Hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The room was cleaned everyday and we got new towels, water, soap bars and schampoo everyday as well. Bed was a little hard for my taste (but I find nearly all hotel beds too hard) and the room was a little noisy. However, we were aware of that and was given the option to stay in a room facing the parking lot, but opted for the noisier one because of bigger windows and a kingsize bed (the other room had two beds and very small windows).

The room was large and clean. The staff were there to answer our questions and were very friendly. The pool was refreshing. We enjoyed having a herbal tea in the lobby on our first evening. The only negative point is that the rooms on the street side are extremely noisy. There's a lot of traffic on the street below, and the windows don't provide sufficient sound insulation. We asked for a change of room and were offered a reasonable solution which unfortunately didn't suit our needs.

Wonderfully located to the downtown area. I was able to walk to all the points of interest that I needed plus places to get transportation room on the street side. There can be some street noise, but I slept soundly. One suggestion would be for them to have a mini fridge to keep cool drinks A little pool was great to cool down. Another suggestion would be a cup of umbrellas as it can be really hot in the full sun. Check in and check out was a breeze and staff very polite and helpful. This is not luxurious, but it is clean and safe and a great place For launching out to visit the city

Pros: conveniently located near downtown Mérida. Parking Cons: Rooms are standard, with very cheap sheets. Expedia lists “safe” as an amenity, but there is not a safe in the room Hair dryer available upon request and you have to provide your ID My room smelled like paint. I requested another room the second night and it also smelled like paint. My third room, had pool towels and the second night they took my dirty towels but only left me one towel. My internet was inconsistent Good hotel if you have low expectations and do not have big needs. I plan on going back to Merida and do not plan on staying there again.

You are in a great location with secured parking. The plaza, were all the tourist action is at, is roughly four (4) blocks away. The hotel is right in the downtown with all the locals going in and out of the area when you step onto the side walk. Felt a safe presence even though your in the downtown district. There is a police officer at every intersection along the way when walking towards the plaza.
