"Decent hotel in a very convenient location. There was one afternoon that the hot water wasn't working, and the rooms are a bit dated, but overall it was great for the price range. Next time I come to Progreso, I might aim a little nicer, but if I ended up in Hotel Playa Linda again, I wouldn't be upset at all."

"The room and property is very clean , breakfast was wonderful and staff is always amazing and helpful . This was our fourth stay here while on Mérida every year and the only hotel we will ever stay at in Merida. The location is wonderful and very walkable hotel is beautiful pool is also very nice"

"Shambalanté is truly a hidden jewel in the heart of the Yucatecan jungle—a sanctuary for the soul. From the moment you arrive, time seems to slow down, replaced by a deep sense of peace, quiet, and connection with nature. Everything about this place invites you to breathe more deeply, to let go, and to reconnect with yourself and with the nature around you. The surroundings are simply magical, and the atmosphere feels both grounding and gently transformative. And the food… absolutely wonderful. Thoughtfully prepared, nourishing, and full of flavor, it complements the entire experience beautifully. If I had known just how special Shambalanté is, I would have stayed a full week instead of just three days. Thank you to Doris, Ricardo, and the rest of the team. I will definitely be back."
