"Beautiful location and hotel "

"We spent 4 days here, yes it’s tiny, but the location and staff make it worth it. When you step out of the hotel you are in the heart of Galway. This was amazing for my friend and I. Everything was super clean and the staff was so kind. They gave us dinner recommendations and ways to spend our days. There aren’t any elevators as a fair warning, and if you plan on having more than 1 or 2 suitcases get a bigger room. We had the smallest one."

"The Galmont is a bright, clean modern hotel. Staff are friendly and always keen to lend an umbrella. A short walk to the town centre makes going out for dinner, to pubs, etc. very easy. We would stay again. The only complaint is about the breakfast…more healthy options needed. "

"Staff was not helpful when live music was blaring through my hotel room walls late at night. When called the front desk he basically told me “too bad”…….. I was offered a new room the next night. Room was adequate, fairly clean. Needs better lighting close to mirrors. The restaurant had some issues with not enough staff to take care of all the patrons. It was very clear they were frustrated, however, it’s not their fault, it’s the fault of the management for not staffing properly. "

"This was an easy check in and check out process. The staff had amazing recommendations for things to do in Galway and restaurants. Right of Quay and not a far walk from the bus/train station. Highly recommend "

"Spacious, clean room with an actual king bed. Breakfast had plenty of options and if you pay the night before it’s discounted. You really can’t beat the options or price. Ate in the bistro three of our nights and each time food was great with an attentive staff. "

"I tried to contact the proprietor via the contact number and email addresses in the booking information and although l made multiple attempts l was unable to resolve my 'check in' queries. I therefor had to make a taxi journey from Galway to the property then return to my friends just to ask a couple of questions, that could have been dealt with remotely. Annoyingly no apology was offered. This unfortunately blotted my opinion as it took up unnecessarily time during my visit. "
