"What a wonderful hotel and staff! Our plans in Siciliy changed and when we looked for a reasonably priced and highly rated hotel La Paloma Blanca in Sciacca came up! We loved it! It's a beautiful hotel, the staff went above and beyond for us even though we didn't speak Italian (Google translate helped!) and its within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, shops, parks, and tourist sites in the city. We will definitely come back again! "

"As soon as you walk in you step back into the 80s. This place needs a facelift and everything else included ASAP. The rooms are ok, the beds are hard! Cold tile flooring everywhere. The ALL INCLUSIVE is the biggest rip off EVER! The food is complete garbage and they only serve pasta and fish so if you don’t eat that you are screwed. If you want something to drink you have to walk from where you are eating and grabbing food to across the hotels lobby and to the bar. The only alcoholic drinks are some cheap wines they have. There are no towels at the pool. Theres a train that takes you to a beautiful beach and honestly that was the only thing making us happy until it broke down and we had to walk back with our 3 yr old twins. The staff at the buffet will watch you like hawks and correct you if you do something they dont approve of. Sicilians are just a whole different breed, I swear. Almost no one here at the hotel speaks English."

"Beautiful newly refurbished property with pool in tranquil location surrounded by nature, but ideally located to sightsee. Everything was spotless and service was warm and helpful. We felt welcome from the minute we arrived. Amazing breakfasts, lunch and dinner on site. Would recommend without hesitation."

"Lovely room, excellent bathroom. Silvano was very helpful and recommended several excellent restaurants. Our favourite was Otto which was just next door. We were a little sceptical about Al Faro down near the port as the exterior looks a little shabby, however, once inside the trattoria is lovely and serves great food, a testament to this is that LOTS of Sicilian eat there"

"The location is good for the beach. The smell is bad inside. This is a party hotel. Shower was dirty and sporadic hot water. Bed is a brick. The breakfast was good "

"We were met by Nino who showed us where the Villa was he was extremely helpful, he went through everything we needed to know. Brought us tea twice when we were there made us feel at home. We had a big problem with our hired car, he was more than happen to help us. Made us feel safe and welcome."
