"Excellent location with easy access to beach, Headlands State Park coastal bluff trail and the vibrant downtown shops, restaurants and bars. But the hotel itself needs attention. Our garden suite was large and had a newly-renovated bathroom, but the bathroom counter was cracked and we had an ant problem. The bed was comfortable but stark - a sheeted mattress over exposed box springs. Our antique light fixture had burned out lights and the room smelled a little musty. No breakfast option...

I was personally contacted via text by the host (Summer who was great) on the day of arrival. They wanted to know what time I would be showing up.
