"We loved everything about our stay, especially the sea views! The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed. The only problem I encountered was getting to and from the ( excellent, heated) pool. The handle to get through the gate needs a lot of strenght to be pushed in, which I, and I assume, elderly people, don't have,! Otherwise, everything was brilliant - and we are planning to return."

"The house was quaint and okay for the 4 of us but there was a smell downstairs which was unfortunate. The place is generally great and the pool top. Shame the restaurant was closed (would have like a clear notice of this before as there is only 1 other restaurant really close by). Spanish families were excessively loud at the pool but other than a cool and really nice stay - the tream were really friendly. "

"No info for check in provided before arrival whereas the reception was closed. For check out the reception lady was late. If you are allergic to acariens don't go there , seems the blanket and sofa are never cleaned. "

"Worst experience ever. Place was completely dirty and disgusting. Spiders and bugs everywhere inside. Spiderwebs, dust and uncleaned conditions. Totally not Corona-proof. Booked two nights but left immediately after the first night. They refused a refund while they did not keep their property clean and safe. Stay away!!!"

"The property is a nice 3 star but clearly not a 4 star as posted on the building. We enjoyed the fact that it was an apartment, although a little outdated. However, no A/C. Its downtown location is perfect to walk to the beach, market and shopping areas."

"The apartment was nice and clean and the site was fairly quiet, although there seemed to be a lot of guests, judging from the occupancy of the car park. We had no problems at all while we were there."

"Excellent location, cant comment on service as reception barely open. But we didn't need anything anyway. Stay was out of season visiting family, so pool etc closed. Looked very nice though. If in summer I may be concerned with lack of aircon. Walking distance to local beach with restaurants and a lovely friendly artisan bakery. Area is good to stay to explore surrounding areas such as hendaye, sare, Biarritz, st jean and northern Spain."

"Positives: Location is good. The lady at reception was very nice. Negatives: no shower in the accommodation. A shower was listed in the Expedia room description & you would think this is a basic facility all accommodation would have but alas not here. The apartment was dark & grimy. The fridge had a foul fish odour which tainted our food & seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. "Bed linen and towels were very old and need replacing. Had to make the beds ourselves and were instructed to un make and fold all linen and towels when leaving. Pillows were old saggy cushions. Only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied for 4 days stay in an apartment that takes 5 people. Told to buy our own toilet paper. Not very convenient as approx 1k out of town. All in all not comfortable and poor value for money. "
