Aviator Suites Hotel Juneau Airport

"This brand new conversion to an Aviator Suites is the best conversion in which I've ever stayed. The entire hotel property from the exterior to every fixture and piece of furniture was brand new or overhauled. The airport location is a quick car drive from Mendenhall Glacier, Auke Bay (ferry / harbor), and downtown with each less than ten minutes away so you can pack everything in to some long Alaskan summer days. The blackout shades were a very nice touch given those long days. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. If flying in to the Juneau airport, the hotel is directly after the terminal parking before the cell phone waiting lot. Rental cars or taxis are available at the airport, but you can also walk to grab a delicious diner-style breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Donna's Restaurant immediately behind the hotel. I would highly recommend you stay at this property or another Aspen affiliate when heading to Alaska."

"We read the reviews and knew the hotel was dated but we were pleasantly surprised and pleased by the staff and accommodations. Breakfast buffet was good and filling. We even had AC in our room. Alaska is expensive. Juneau is expensive- everything has to be shipped in by plane or boat. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to downtown Juneau!"

"Nice sea view from the balcony. Traffic noise was heavy during the day but quieted down at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Gym was small and not well equipped. But if you want to have a jog, the path by the waterfront was fantastic. Food outlets are available only in downtown, which was easy to get to using the public bus or having a 25 min walk."

"Staff was very friendly and shuttled us to the airport twice. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean The tap water tasted fantastic and was really cold. Loved it! If we come back to Juneau, we will definitely stay here again."

"From check in to checkout our experience there was phenomenal. They were super receptive on the phone to answer questions about their shuttle service. We even had to do a very early morning shuttle at 3 AM for our flight and they accommodated that early time AND included offering us homemade breakfast burritos to take with us because we would be missing the continental breakfast. They had an enormous assortment of snacks and fresh fruit offering bottles of water and free coffee and tea for the entire day as well. We ordered takeout food for dinner and she provided us with plates, napkins, and utensils to enjoy that in the dining room. It was lovely to sit on the front porch and just watch cars go by as well as I could hear bald eagles in the background and ravens in the trees. Beautiful property very clean and probably the best place I’ve ever stayed."
