"Visiting family on Saturday 7th June for a week so decided to go a day earlier and stayed at the Lowfield Inn and thoroughly enjoyed the stay the room was very nice and comfortable.We had a very nice meal with a drink and all the staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast was nice and if we are up this way again we will certainly stay again."

"Everything about darwins townhouse was superb. Rooms lovely, sevice lovely, especially from the young girl serving us at breakfast (blonde ponytail) sorry, didnt get her name. The honesty bar is also a lovely touch. Thankyou, we will be booking again."

"No issues, it’s self check in and the instructions were easy to follow. Room was very small but perfect for what I needed which was just a bed and somewhere to shower in the morning. Clean compact space, looked recently decorated. Not a huge amount of room to get around in, couldn’t get all the way around the bed if the bathroom door was open for example, not a complaint for me at all but think it’s always handy to read about what you’re booking! No wardrobe but there is a clothes rail above a counter, and basic tea/coffee provisions. No parking, there is a 24 hour paid car park next door which was £6.20 for 12 hours. "

"Comfortable room in an old inn, with a 4-poster & settee. Good strong, hot shower. Very quiet, so a good night’s sleep. Very friendly host& staff - the inn providing excellent food & refreshment. Perfectly placed close to the station, car parks, attractions & main shopping areas. All within one of the nicest towns in England."
