"Check in was smooth and efficient but not very welcoming considering I’d travelled along way and 2nd visit no personal interaction . Check out very different asked if I’d had a nice stay and had everything been good with the room . Makes such a difference . Hotel room very nice with great touches of bath robe and toiletries . Tea and coffee supplied with water also appreciated . We noticed this year In the corridor it had the aroma of smoke I’m sure it wasn’t as rooms non smoking but every time we went out of our room we could smell it and noticed air fresheners placed around Lace market hotel so conveniently situated to get out and about shopping and restaurants while visiting uni daughter . Had a great few days"
