House and glimpse of Mellis church The church appears shy and retiring, set back from the road. But, my word, it is well worth a visit, being a most impressive and distinctive construction.

St Mary's Church, Mellis The church boasts a large porch, with fine windows towards the west end of the church. The rest was in shade from the tall trees in the churchyard.
