"FULL OF MOLD - DON'T STAY HERE The whole apartament is full of mold. You can smell it from the doorway. The bathroom is tiny, full of mold and rust, and the shower area doesn't have a door. Inside of the room the walls are dirty, full of scratches, and the room smells of mold. The owner has bad English skills and he scolded me regarding the hour of the breakfast (bad communication). "Wonderful property and one of our favourites this past trip! The hotel has been impeccably renovated and is full of stunning, interesting architecture while still being comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent and the suite had plenty of space. Easily walkable to everywhere, including swimming right across the street!"

"Family stay in the comfort room was excellent. Both beds comfy and the rooms were super clean. Right in the heart of everything to see and do. Loved our stay and hope to return in the future. Park across the road is beautiful and has a children’s playground as well. "

"Palazzo Sangiorgio was spectacular. We booked the Grand Suite and were very happy with the decision. The appointments, decorations, bathroom, and bed were all top quality. The service was exemplary. The location was on a quieter street about a 5 minute walk from the main square, so we were close to multiple dining and shopping options. We loved our time in Catania and wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else when we come back. "

"The hotel is within easy walking distance of the airport bus stop if you haven’t much baggage. It’s very close to the metro station which is one stop from the train station. This was very convenient for me since I used Catania as a base to explore Taormina and Siracusa. It is around 15 minutes walk from the duomo and main tourist sites. The restaurant behind the hotel had live music outdoors but it was quiet by 11 pm. The breakfast buffet was very good with a fine array of choices. Management was very prompt in replying to queries on WhatsApp. Highly recommended. "
