"Beautiful resort. Attentive Staff. Picturesque setting. Good Food. Overall - a great experience. The reason for 3 stars is they charged one couple in our group 80eu PER NIGHT for a pack and play (folding crib) for their infant. Most hotels provide this for free or 5-10Eu. For that price, they could provide a brand new one each night and let them take it home. That's our only complaint, otherwise it was a nice place to stay. "

"This property is a beautiful restored country property in a lakeside setting. Chiara and Martin are gracious hosts and talented cooks. Visting the major tourist destinations like Firenze, Roma the Amalfi coast can be overwhelming this place is like an oasis of calm. Bit of a secret garden with a total peace and love vibe removed from the standard tourist jam. Namaste"

"Place was amazing. The drive from Orvieto is slow narrow roads uphill for 30-45 min. Then full stop……….. the place is an incredible castle with amazing views and surroundings. Living back in ancient Roman days. What a castle and fortress. The staff were great. The grounds and views amazing especially sunset and sun rise. "Rooms were fairly clean, but both bathrooms had somewhat of a sewer smell. You could see they had plates that covered all drains."
