"We loved it here! It was the perfect spot to enjoy all that Lake Lucerne has to offer, with beautiful lake access and close enough to enjoy the energy and sights of the city. We didnt realize until half way through our stay we could ride the #24 bus for free (included with hotel reservation) into town and to the transportation museum. Definitely make sure you ask for the print out. The rooms are lovely, the food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS, especially the dinner. Everyone who worked there was so kind. There is even a trail to visit a beautiful non-touristy castle that has an adorable little cafe- must visit! They will tell you the way. Make dinner reservations for around 8 so you can watch the sunset! Gorgeous! "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was so helpful and there was an entrance to the station/ platforms only few minutes away from the hotel. Our room had a view of Mt. Pilatus and had everything we needed except a kettle to boil water. We also felt that the room was a little bit smaller than we expected. Otherwise, we really liked the convenient location and great breakfast and the spanish dinner at their restaurant. "

Yes - the rooms are small and yes you don’t get the luxuries of non-budget hotels but it’s perfect! The price cannot be beaten for what you get. The breakfast is good: healthy, a variety, and plentiful. "

"Amazing place to stay, definitely recommend the balcony view. Staying in Grindelwald to experience Mother Nature in its true form, especially the location of this lodge. Lodge is right next to terminal so accessibility was amazing. Lots of fresh items in breakfast however too many flies during summer season but that seems to be a norm in Switzerland."

"We were notified upon check in a shower door was removed as a recent guest broke it. The manager offered to give my family (3 of us) free breakfast for both days of our stay which was more than fair and appreciated (I did not ask for anything)! I am grateful for the hospitality and generosity that was extended to us. The area is less than a mile from the center of old Luzern and we walked. The area is quiet and safe so this was not an issue."
