About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Idyllwylde - Cosy cabin, basking in Warburton winter's sunshine.

Winter welcome pack now available for all bookings! Includes some firewood, marshmallows for toasting, an extra treat or two, and a bottle of red or white wine.

Enjoy this in a charming 1950s cabin, set amongst mature trees and garden. Large windows capture the glorious winter sunshine while you can snuggle down with cosy bedding, effective heating, and the charm of a woodburning stove.
Newly renovated and well equipped, relax to the sounds of the creek burbling away, and drink in the mountain views. You don't have to sit on the sunny back deck long before the locals arrive for a chat - king parrots, rosellas, kookaburras and other birds. The picturesque town with its delicious cafes is just a 5-minute walk across the bridge and sports oval, or a delightful stroll along the river.
Quiet, dog friendly, accessible (ramp to front door) and with plenty of off-street parking - this is the perfect place to ignore the world for a couple of days or use as a base to explore the stunning upper Yarra Ranges.
Autumn and winter in the upper Yarra Valley are truly spectacular and feel a world away from the city - yet Idyllwylde is only an hour from Melbourne. Think crisp mornings and sunny days - perfect for exploring the town and local sights. Tackle the many walking and cycling trails, changing views, waterfalls, and wildlife sighting. When it's raining or the clouds are hanging low over the hills, there are galleries, the cinema, and the chance of snow on the hills. Or ignore the weather and curl up with a book, a glass of red wine, or play games with the kids. Wifi is there (think relaxing WFH?), but what a chance for a digital detox if you so choose!
An easy escape for a lazy or adventure-packed weekend and school holidays. Mid-week enquiries also welcome.

Super cosy and comfortable
We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. Everything is in good nic, very good quality bedding and kitchenware. A lot of personal touches - A home away from Home. Fireplace works a treat to take the chill off. The reverse cycle also warms up the place in a jiffy. The kids got stuck into the games and puzzles as it rained most of our stay. Great location - walking distance, along the gorgeous river, into town or the caravan park. We would definitely book again.

Perfect location for the river
We had a fantastic stay at Idyllwylde. The property is very well presented and was perfect for both us and our dog who enjoyed the fenced in garden. Great location for both the river and Warburton - very quiet in the house despite the rest of town being very busy. Would stay again!
