The room was very good with everything you could ask for. The bed is enormous. Very quiet as the rooms are all in a natural surround. Absolutely no noise. This motel is out go to when we visit the Yarra Valley.
Have stayed here twice and have always experienced quick check in and a comfortable stay. Great place to stay when attending an event in the Yarra Valley.
It was close to where we were attending a wedding. Didnt spend much time there - it was basically somewhere to sleep for the night. Beds were large, clean and comfortable.
Comfortable and clean, okay for a quick trip and if you’re not planning on staying in your room. Shower isn’t the best, but customer service was great.
Huge king-sized bed in a huge room...just fantastic!! Wished we had had the time to explore the property a bit more. Will certainly recommend this accommodation to others.
Keep up the great work!
We stayed here as a last minute decision. The establishment was probably a conference centre but now largely unused. Room was comfortable and quite large but surroundings were in need of some TLC. . It was close to some good restaurants in the nearby shopping centres. I t felt a bit spooky being the only guests in the wing but could be pleasant if the place was full.
This is the second time I have stayed here for leisure and both times have been perfect. Though it's a conference centre, accommodation is available to general public, and the room size is great.
Always clean, decent rates and, so long as you have a car, in a great location for exploring outer eastern Melbourne.
Massive, comfortable king size beds, spacious bathrooms and even the basic rooms have either a couch or individual longe chairs with table.
Highly recommended and I will stay here again when next in the area.
The surroundings are beautiful and it’s so peaceful. The room was fantastic and the bed was amazing. The water pressure in the shower was great. It was such a pleasurable stay and the communication was great as we didn’t check in until after 5pm. Before I realised the time we received a text on how to go about entering the property and then also the room. Thank you, would highly recommend

Liked: Cleanliness
Room was clean, however as we were coming and going late and early, being in the farthest room from the car park was a bit inconvenient and I felt sorry for other guests.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foothills. The rooms are a great size, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The bed is enormous and super comfy! Our room was in D block which was super quiet.
The location is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous maintained gardens and the venue nestled among a stunning forest setting.
We didn't have our children with us this time but there is a playground and games room that would be wonderful for kids.
The lady at reception who checked us in was really friendly and helpful.
We will definitely stay at Foothills Conference Centre next time we are in the area.

We have stayed at this property before.
Our room was good as it was last time. A little dated though. The lighting was really bad on our eyes...quite dull. Our bed was extremely comfy...even if it was two beds joined together. Our last room we stayed in, neither of us got much sleep as the bed was extremely uncomfortable...so we were really happy to get a comfortable bed...even if we had to pay a little more than our last visit. I've never known the dining room to be open to eat in...so we've always had to leave the area to go elsewhere to eat. We had a manual for a microwave, but we didn't actually have a microwave in our room, which was strange.
The receptionist is beautiful on both of our visits. She is friendly and has great people skills. A gem.

This property has so much potential to attract guests. The leisure facilities are good but in need of some maintenance - especially the tennis court and games room. Our room was great and the bed and facilities were very comfortable for our stay of 8 nights. Our room was very quiet and restful which was lovely. In our room were two small cups - one plate and one bread and butter plate. We had no sharp knives or board to cut on was available. We purchased a cleaning sponge cloth to wipe down the benches. The daily cleaners did not vacuum our room during our stay and plates, bowls and utensils were rinsed out under the tap in the bathroom and wiped with a tea towel which we had for 8 nights. The cups mysteriously disappeared the night before we left and we had no hot drink before we left on Saturday morning. The gardens are all in need of weeding and the weeds outside our unit were cleared by my wife before we left this morning - as much as could be done. My wife watched the nice girls doing the gardening weeding and they need to be taught how to do this type of work. The outdoor furniture was dirty and needed cleaning. We hope these comments are constructive as we did enjoy our time as guests.
Idyllic location at the former home of Swinburne University, Mooroolbark Campus. Tremendous value for money. If you need a peaceful escape this could be it, and Expedia make it so easy.
