Lovely Hotel, very clean and quiet room with concrete walls.The staff were amazing,the restaurant had lovely food which saved us from having to go out to find somewhere to eat. I highly reccomend the hotel and would stay there again,it was ver close to the saint vincent hospital.

The entrance was lovely, clean and professional. The bed was very comfortable and large. The shower was atrocious as the water flow went from scorching hot to freezing cold over and over again. Would not just be warm. The shower head fell off. The room was clean. Bed nicely made. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very quiet - only heard birds chirping in the morning. Felt safe to explore nearby Lygon Street at night. The nicely updated room was spacious and cosy, and I slept through the night on the comfortable bed. Will stay here again.

Positives - the location is great and the staff were very nice. However unfortunately I did not have a good night's sleep. The door lets in a lot of light from the corridor (and the corridor light cannot be switched off). We tried to block some of the gaps around the door with pillows, but it only slightly helped. The gaps also meant you could hear people laughing/talking loudly from within the room opposite. Also our room was near the pool, and the pump hummed constantly all night, and I could hear it even with ear plugs in. The room was very dated, and the mattress needs replacing. The bathroom was also freezing for some reason (however the heating in the bedroom was fine). I am confused how this hotel has such a high rating, and so I assume that other rooms must be a lot better than ours was.

The rooms are older but very clean and comfortable. Very convenient and close to walk to geg food etc. Front of house staff were very welcoming and helpful. Car parking available onsite for $30 which was convenient.
