"This was a great place to relax with a good view and explore the Lake Thun and Interlaken area. It was away from all the tourists and was so relaxing. The stay here also gave us free use of the basic bus system in this area which was very nice. This place was perfect for us and we’d love to come again sometime."

"The location was central to all the places we wished to visit along the 2 lakes. We had a rental car so parking on premises was a bonus. The accommodation was roomy for the 5 adults in the family. The kitchen was well appointed so we could cook meals with groceries from the nearby COOP. The Interlaken discount card Monika provided saved us a few Euro in admission fees at several attractions. She was a hospitable and welcoming hostess. I highly recommend."

"Our family loved the quieter village and it was still quick, very efficient to travel around Bernese Oberland region from this relatively central location. The views from the balcony were magnificent and changed dramatically during the day. The house worked perfectly for our family of three. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we’ve found after years of VRBO rentals. "The backyard view is spectacular. Neighborhood is very quiet. The Chalet is smaller than we imagined. Chalet is very clean and the host is very thoughtful with information and materials provided."

"Super Host who provided a guided tour of the town. Apartment was very well stocked with local food samples. Easy walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We used this as a location to take the train into Lucern. A 20 minute train ride. Newly renovated apartment. Would definitely book again."

"The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to...

"Highly recommend. It is an authentic Swiss mountain experience. The host, Rolf, was very attentive and available for questions. The place was stocked everything we needed from Fondue pots, foosball table, towels, and cellar with wine & beer! Hope to visit again in the future."

So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. Beds are very firm,but fine for a short trip. Kitchen has basic essentials. We had to wash some of the bedding when we arrived on two beds as they smelled used and sweaty. "The house is well situated for visiting the country via bus/train. Pascal gave us his advice on where to go & what to see, depending on the weather and/or crowds. I have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this house is probably the cleanest I have had the pleasure to rent."
