"Nice quiet place. The walls of Lugo are a 20 minute uphill hike, but doable. The river walking trails are great. The clientele of this hotel are largely elderly. The Roman baths in the basement are interesting if you like that sort of thing. "

"The hostel is located in a new development close to the bus station. We had a beautiful room, newly furnished and well equipped. It has an automated check-in system which I hadn’t realised because I hadn’t read all the information sent carefully enough. This was a bit of a stressful start. There’s also no one around to ask questions, which can be tricky. There’s a kitchen to make your own breakfast. The coffee pod dispenser was stuck but of course there’s no one to help. "This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve done the Camino on a few occasions. Where to start? The building is beautiful with exposed old stone it just looks gorgeous. The beds are very comfortable. The pods give you privacy and the bag locker is a good idea. The curtain gives you privacy and also blocks out the light, which is great because I’m light sensitive The check in was so easy, they just give you a card you can let you in with at any time. "Limited availabikity of hotel rooms when we travelled. A little way out from.old town, 30 mins walk, more for budget travel than relaxtion. That said, clean & secure accommodation, street parking. "

"Decent, basic, and clean. Not luxurious, and an older property, but well-kept and in good shape. We had a great view of the wall and cathedral tower from our room. Run by a pleasant couple. We'd stay again."
