"This is a lovely small hotel and restaurant run by a lovely couple. The setting is like something out of a story book. From our room we could hear the soothing sound of the fountain and the church bells ringing from the nearby bell tower. The bed was comfy. There is a nice breakfast in the morning for hotel guests. Horgen is a quaint and quiet little town. You can easily purchase tickets to Horgen from the airport and train station. So getting there is no problem. We took the ferry boat back...

"Great hotel, super clean, breakfast was great, however, the gym did not open during stated hours so I was unable to workout my entire stay."

"The hotel overall was very nice overlooking the lake but the room was small for the price. The room was extremely hot and stuffy and even though the room was for 4 people, only one fan that was barely working was provided. I would not recommend staying here in the hot weather. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice."

"Summary: This is way more than I expected from the description, so we were pleasantly surprised and satisfied. The price was reasonable compared to other options. (I just think ALL VRBO and hotel options are expensive). This place really was exceptional, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!Location: Conveniently located near the city in a calm and EXTREMELY beautiful neighborhood near the lake. Easy travel to and from the apartment. No direct transportation to the apartment, but everything less than 10 minute walk, boat is the closest and very beautiful.Host: Incredibly kind, responsive, and thorough (thank you!)…before, during, and after the stay.Home: Absolutely gorgeous, updated, clean, LOTS of space. So many windows! Great view! Wonderful bedrooms, storage, and living space. Would have liked better utensils in the kitchen. Bathrooms are very nice. The only shower is a bit cramped being next to the slanted wall, but the water was great, and the bath was perfect. Well stocked with toiletries."

"Really good stay. The reception desk upgraded us to a suite. I sat down in the foyer and accidentally left my sunglasses on the table. The staff had handed them in to reception for me. So relieved! Thank you! Clean room and friendly staff. One area for improvement is the breakfast. The scrambled egg at the breakfast station was not refilled (I assumed it was because it was 1 hour before closing) and then I saw a fresh plate of scrambled and omelette being delivered to the next table. Had I known it was an option I would have ordered this but it was too late"

"Comfortable and spacious for 3 people! We slept well which is #1 priority for us. It was mostly clean. It is well decorated. The location would be fine if you’re driving a car. But since we used train and bus system it took about 10-15 minutes of walking to get to grocery or restaurants and there aren’t really shops nearby. The host responded quickly to an issue I had but either misunderstood me when I wanted help with it right away or just didn’t do it. We had some trouble finding the key because it wasn’t in the right place but luckily another guest told us to open every mailbox until we found it and then we did. But these are small issues and I was pleased with the comfort."
