Anyone who loves water, forest and nature is very welcome here in Meiersberg on the Szczecin Lagoon. Meiersberg is a holidaymaker-friendly and pretty village in the north-easternmost holiday region of Germany with the harbour town of Ueckermünde. Ueckermünde with its neighbouring lagoon communities offers every guest a relaxing and eventful holiday. Especially in the summer months, it is difficult to choose from the many cultural attractions along the lagoon coast and the neighbouring towns and villages. Highlights such as the Haff or harbour days in Ueckermünde, Greifswald or Anklam attract thousands of visitors. The Störtebecker and Vineta Festivals must be booked in advance. From Meiersberg it is about 15 minutes by car to the bathing beaches and marinas.
The holiday flat is located in the outbuilding with a separate entrance. The property includes a lawn for sunbathing, a well-kept but rustic garden with a romantic garden pond and a seating area covered with wine and real hops, barbecue area. The property is completely fenced and therefore also suitable for dogs. On the adjoining 0.5 ha of open space there is plenty of room to run around. The adjoining quiet forest area is particularly inviting for collecting forest fruits in autumn. With a fishing licence you can catch some "big fish" at the river Zarow (at the edge of the village - 5 minutes) or at the lagoon. A kindergarten, restaurant and friendly residents are a striking signpost. Several cultural highlights (cult village festival with the Ostseewelle radio station, Oktoberfest, ...) have become visitor magnets in Meiersberg. Although situated on the village road, there is absolute "traffic peace". Otherwise very good transport connections to Greifswald, Stralsund, Baltic seaside resorts on Usedom or Szczecin in Poland. Excursions by boat to Swinemünde or to the island of Usedom can be highlights of your holiday. The apartment is equipped: -2 living-bedrooms (1 room with double bed, 1 room with bed and sofa bed, both rooms with satellite TV and radio) -travel cot for small children can be set up free of charge) -kitchen, WC, shower -prices include electricity, heating, water, bed linen, final cleaning The apartment is located on the 1st floor. (All rooms are equipped with central heating. Smokers have great opportunities to pursue their hobby. But please not in the flat. A parking space is available for your car. Bicycles brought along can be stored. Bicycles can be rented in Ueckermünde.
Tourist tax is currently only charged in Ueckermünde and Mönkebude. No visitor's tax is charged in Meiersberg. If holidaymakers go to the beach in the aforementioned municipalities on the lagoon, they must pay the fee at the machine. The same applies to the Baltic seaside resorts. Children and day tourists are partially exempt from the visitor's tax.
The Stiel hobby brewery is located on the estate. Home-brewed "Stiel Bräu" is offered for tasting and sale. Guests can also book a brewing evening as an information evening with tasting.
On the brewing day, guests can also take part in the brewing process and become a brewer's servant. However, this is only possible by prior arrangement or on scheduled brewing days.
