Memories Beach Hotel

"By far the best hotel I have stayed at abroad. We honestly did not have big expectations because we were budgeting our trip by staying on a cheaper side of the island, but the location was perfect. Beach is steps away across the street from the hotel. The property itself is well-maintained and clean. The staff were incredible, they answered every question we had during our stay and were incredibly helpful. Some of the nicest people we came to know during our stay. We went at a quiet time of year, but we still didn't notice much street traffic or noise near the hotel. Very peaceful. Access to main areas is difficult. There is a bus that runs near the hotel but we found public transit somewhat unreliable. Plus a base Uber fare on the island is about 40€. We ended up renting a car and UTV which was a really good decision. Definitely recommend Memories to anyone visiting Santorini! We miss it already."

"We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property to couples looking for a relaxing getaway. The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day to ensure everything was well looked after. The staff were amazing, always friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection to start the day. The location was also great, making it convenient to explore both Oia and Fira, with plenty of local restaurants nearby to enjoy. The views were absolutely beautiful, adding to the overall experience. We stayed in a private room with a jacuzzi, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel extra special. The property was also very quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for couples wanting to relax and enjoy some quality time together. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Santorini. We would definitely consider staying here again!"

"We had a nice, big and clean room. The breakfast consists of a nice buffet and potential extras from the kitchen, different egg dishes or pancakes. The hotel has a nice location on the beech wtih sunbeds available for the guests. All in all a good experience."

"Had a great 7 days beginning of October, staff really nice, food and drinks nice, but the place is looking a bit tired. The drains in our bathroom were really smelly. It was very clean though, rooms, towels and sheets done every day."

"Great location. Staff in reception, bar & breakfast were very helpful & friendly. Economy room was set below ground level, so no view of any sort. However, room was fine. Hot food at breakfast was lukewarm at best. Fruit choice consisted of tinned peach slices, apples and oranges in a basket. There was water melon for first few days but this then stopped. Evening meals - food was good with varied options (we were half board). Hotel was smart & well maintained with nice pool. Good value for money overall. Special mentions must go to John in reception & Nick at the bar who were both excellent: very happy, friendly & helpful."

"We have just departed following our wedding in Santorini. I can’t thank Costa Grand enough for how amazingly helpful they have been, no request was too big. We were offered a complimentary upgrade on our last night which we politely declined due to the amount of baggage we had unpacked but we appreciated the offer so much. We had approx 30 people staying with us at Costa grand so I had emailed a few months before and asked if we could possibly be close together in the hotel to reduce disruption to other guest around the pool, we never expected them to manage this but they did! Meaning all of our guests were in one area which was amazing. The amenities were great, food and drink were excellent and staff are extremely friendly and helpful."
