"Great property. Apartments very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful sea view on 2nd floor. Kitchenette basic but adequate for cooking breakfast. Good shower in bathroom. Lovely pool. There is a pool bar. George the owner and his family and staff were very friendly and gave lots of information about Crete. It is about a 12 minute walk down the hill to the nearest beach Kalamaki. We didn't like this beach as it was by a busy road so we carried on walking another 20 mins to...

"Hotel is new and in great condition. Spacious room, large bathroom, great balcony only a few meters from the crushing waves. Wonderful restaurant right on top of the waves. Two beautiful pools, one of them overlooking the sea and only a few meters away from it. Great beach right in front of the hotel, ultra long beach to walk either way. Only downside is the breakfast ; although it gives the basics that you expect, it does not offer any local delicacies. "

"Another great stay an Aloni! Rental car necessary if you want to travel about otherwise great place to chill by the pool. Kalathas beach 5 mins drive is best for miles around. All staff so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of area. Only 15 mins from airport but didn't notice the planes. 25 mins drive from Chania town - parking hard in the evening but until 4pm ok. Amazing sunset from apartments and pool area every evening over the peninsula to the west."

"The pictures don’t do it justice this place was so lovely!! The pool and sun loungers with access straight into the sea were outstanding and the staff were all amazing and so helpful. "We stayed in an ocean view room and the view was beautiful. Nice breeze. Location is high up with steep slopes, not feasible for older and those with bad backs. Property has elevator to avoid the slope but is hard to find. Definitely helpful once it is found. Interior could use some upgrades. But it was clean and comfortable enough. Enjoyed my stay. "
