"This is our 6th stay in this charming cottage. It is so cosy and a real hideaway. Jon & Tanya are a lovely couple and make you feel very welcome. We will definately be back and highly recommend it."

"A great little base for exploring, lgreat hosts, such a lovely couple. The accommodation was comfortable, clean everything you need. A lovely wood burner gives the Dairy a warm and cosy atmosphere, especially when everything was frosty outside. A very relaxing stay, thank you."

"We stayed for a weekend in early December. The weather was wet and cold so we made full use of the warm and comfortable cottage. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable. The setting is fine with good views over the fields and woodland. Bridget was very accommodating too."

"The cottage was a lovely old building. Well equipped. The road noise was a bit loud as the windows had gaps but overall a good stay."

"Beautifully appointed house within minutes of the city centre. Felt at home from the start. Julia was fabulous, such a kind host. I can recommend her propertuy without hesitation."

"We had a wonderful week in the Plough Shed. The location is wonderful for local attractions and amazing walks. The Octagonal Walks booklet which you can purchase at the local cafe/shop offers a variety of well documented walks. The only thing we found disappointing was the amount of dog hair in the cottage, a good vacuum cleaner would have helped."

"This is a beautiful property in an idyllic location with plenty of comfortable space for our family of 8.
