"We stayed in two locations in Lisbon. Alfama area and here. Loved the area! Felt like I was staying among locals and not crowds of tourists. The hotel is on a quiet street. Walkable to restaurants and a pharmacy. Felt safe walking back at night. Building is old but well maintained. Staff was lovely. Free Breakfast was good. Loved having a place to enjoy afternoon coffee in the breakfast/ patio area to relax and get our second wind. "

"This apartment is not in the city center, but there is a metro station right outside; also a park across the street, grocery and other shopping both around the corner and a mall across the street. The hotel itself is quirky, the second floor of a residential building, so a bit of a challenge to find and figure out. Good, plentiful breakfast included."

"Great place . Wonderful location. Wonderful staff! Great Breakfast. We had 2 rooms - one room /apartment had a very large bathroom however the bathroom was really small in the other room the Superior Apartment. The shower was tiny in that bathroom. You may want to check on bathroom size in the room/apartment you choose. "

"There are not enough adjectives to describe the kindness, friendliness and general helpfulness of all the staff. Breakfast was very well presented and had many options including made to order eggs. Location was excellent. "

"a very nice place to stay. Near a lot of things. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast excellent with many choices. Parking might be difficult on the street but there is a garage parking very close."

"This place was awful. NO AIR CONDITIONING which is not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. Apparently, Expedia has that info but not listed anywhere. Would not have booked this place if I had known there was no air conditioning. No fans either and on top of that window was broken and couldn't be opened. Temp was close to 80 when I got there. Expedia was of no help finding me another room. Left within an hour of arriving. Temp next day was 102 degrees. Unacceptable at any price."
