"Second time staying here & overall another positive experience. It's a great hotel, with excellent facilities if you are a cyclist and with a perfect location in Oudenaarde. Only downside on this visit, we stayed 3 nights & the room was serviced but no coffee, milk etc replenished. Also the fire alarm went off in the night and people were evacuating themselves, no staff available to help or explain. Then after standing outside for 10 minutes the alarms stopped. Still no staff explanation. Not...

"Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. "Alles was top. Vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie. Hele mooie kamer op de begane grond goed ingericht zeer ruime badkamer met heerlijke warme douche . Goede bedden h2bben heerlijk geslapen . Voor het ontbijt even gezwommen in het prachtige indoor zwembad .daarna een heerlijk ontbijt. Er werd zelf een heerlijk eitje gebakken met spek goed assortiment aan ontbijt . Echt een goede ligging mooi hotel en faciliteiten parking was goed en voor 12.50 euro per dag .in de staat zit...

"My family booked a premium room at a wellness spa. This is not what we experienced. Access to the room was via a narrow staircase into the loft. No hand rails. Narrow steps. Basic health and safety issue. The room felt like a half converted loft. Curtains simply hid what was basically an area of junk. The bunk bed for the kids has a large spike just above it. If a child where to sit up quickly i they would put a hole in their head. The one loft window in the room is low down and...
