Lovely people who made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was delicious and served with a friendly face. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Grounds were beautiful breakfast was excellent and delicious new owners Mike and Rachel were very welcoming and informative about things to do around town all my needs were net and expectations were exceded A1 bed and breakfast
we loved the Emory House. The hosts are wonderfully gracious and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the koi pond and the log cabin in the back. Great place to stay!
The Emory House is one of my all-time favorite places that I have ever stayed! I think we would return to the area just so we could stay there again. Not only was it a lovely space but the host was incredibly hospitable and I love learning about the area and the historic elements in the space. I appreciate that they accommodated my gluten intolerance for breakfast and had dinner recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here!
Definitely a place I will visit again and again. It was an incredible place with the kindest people I have ever met. The bedroom was immaculate and the food and snacks were extremely delightful.
This was one of the best bed and breakfast spots that we've every stayed in. The property, inside and out, was immaculately maintained, the rooms were spacious, the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating...and the breakfasts were amazing! We also loved how quiet and peaceful the area is. The home sits across from Emory and Henry's campus (that we had never heard of before our stay) that is historic, well maintained, and served as a great place for afternoon walks. There is no question that we'll be staying here again if we're ever remotely close to the area.
Loved this B&B. So homey and comfrotable. The owners went over and above to make sure we were comfrotable driving in, parking and having access since we had an very late arrival.
A very large yummy breakfast was served each morning and we got to choose the time. Homemade pound cake and cookies are served each afternoon and a stocked mini fridge with soft drinks and waters are also included.
They have a great front porch swing, coy pond and firepit. This is a quiet getaway and a great place to stay!
The accommodations were top-notch...just perfect. But the breakfast was truly memorable. Every dish/item in the meal was a home prepared, restaurant quality, unique experience! Whipped yogurt! Maple chicken sausage! Soft, moist streusel muffins! Too many to mention here, but you'll love it I'm sure. And a wild deer with two little ones were grazing in the front yard while we ate. Highly recommended!
